Coldwater Schools Has New Superintendent

COLDWATER (WTVB) -- The Coldwater School District has a new superintendent. The Board of Education last night unanimously agreed the post should go to Dr. Tina Kerr, who last night also accepted the job offer. Kerr, who is currently superintendent of a Bay City Area School System, is scheduled to begin working in Coldwater July First.

Her hiring brought an enthusiastic response from about a dozen Coldwater school administrators, teachers, and community members who attended last night’s special meeting after spending the day in Kerr’s Bangor Township district talking to townspeople, students, and teachers, who had nothing but great praise for Kerr while expressing genuine sadness that she would be leaving for a new opportunity.
