KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Two more suspects have been arrested for their part in the armed robbery at the Foxwood Apartments a week ago Monday. Eighteen-year-old Skylar Duane Brown and Nicholas Bell of Kalamazoo are being held for armed robbery and Conspiracy.

Detectives say they teamed up with William Brooks and a fourth young man from Detroit to rob a victim at a carport at the Foxwood complex in Portage. Police say Brooks lured the victim there and initially pretended to be one of the victims too, but he became a suspect when police noticed that he still had one of the items he claimed had been stolen.

The fourth victim is believed to be the one who held the gun to the real victim’s head and demanded they turn over their valuables. All four also are considered “persons of interest” in a string of hold-ups and robberies on the west side of Kalamazoo two weekends ago.
